Though the fields lie fallow Though the fig tree will not bud Though the flock is cut off from the fold Though the nations tremble Though the peoples rage and roar My joy is planted in the Lord Though my body fails I know my Jesus never will I will rejoice in the Lord In all things I rejoice I will rejoice in the Lord And again I say rejoice Though my heart lies fallow Though my spirit is brought low His joy will be my strength and song Though we weep tonight The sun of righteousness will rise Even in the lowest valley you make my feet, my feet, like the feet of the deer You make me run up the highest heights Even in the lowest valley I lift my head, my head and I look to the hills My helper raises me to life

When you plant your feet When you take your seat Heed not the counsel of the wicked The way is blessed He knows your steps You are not lost within the thicket For your delight is in the law of the Lord Day and night it is the meditation of your heart Abide in me; revive your withered leaves Come weary one, rest under shade A thriving tree by the side of the living stream In the cool of the day I will walk in your glade Those who laugh He blows like chaff They will not stand against the pilgrim So put down your roots And wait for fruit Your boughs will bear it in its season
3.
Santo, santo, santo es el Señor, Dios del universo Llenos están el cielo y la tierra de tu gloria Hosanna en el cielo Hosanna en el cielo Bendito es el que viene en el nombre del Señor en el nombre del Señor

Take me, take me, take me to the Rock that is higher than I Take me, take me, take me to the Rock that is higher than I When Joseph was sold into slavery, he said Take me to the Rock that is higher than I When Israel was backed up to the sea, they said Take me to the Rock that is higher than I In the desert, they wandered, the water ran dry They came to the Rock and river rushed out, they said When Israel was exiled in Babylon, they said Take me to the Rock that is higher than I When Esther spoke up, put it all on the line, she said Take me to the Rock that is higher than I When Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego Had the heat turned up but they didn’t bow down, they said In times of trial and suffering, I say Take me to the Rock that is higher than I When the cross I bear is too much for me Take me to the Rock that is higher than I When I’m beaten, and broken, when I’m all alone, I say Take me to the Rock that rolled away the stone We exalt your name We enthrone you on our praise Jesus, only you can save We lift you up (higher and higher) We lift you up (higher and higher) I built my house upon the rock cause the rock’s not moving, the rock’s not moving

Tus Bondades 04:59
Your mercies are new every morning; every morning, Let our songs rise to you. Your mercies are new every morning; every morning, Let our songs rise to you. Lord, you are good, Your love is our portion, We will trust, we will wait for you. Lord, you are good, You come to our rescue, We will trust, we will wait for you. When all of our fears rise within us; rise within us, Like the rolling waves. Then we’ll tell the stories of your goodness; of your goodness, You are strong to save. Our hope is in the Lord, And we won’t be disappointed, We won’t be disappointed.

May the Lord bless you from Zion He who made heaven and earth May the Lord bless you from Zion He who made heaven and earth Que el Señor de Sión te bendiga Creador del cielo y tierra. Que el Señor de Sión te bendiga Creador del cielo y tierra. Come, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, All who stand by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands to the holy place And bless the Lord

about

"'Though We Weep'" is a story of dark nights and brighter mornings, the God who is the same in the lowest valley and the highest heights, the invitation to be planted in the joy of the Lord, even in the midst of fear, loneliness, and death. These are songs we've been singing as a people at City of Light and songs that have been born out of intense wrestling and loss for us as songwriters. They have also been a source of rich joy, fun, collaboration, and creativity—a manna in this desert season, and we hope you are strengthened in joy. May the Lord bless you from Zion, he who made heaven and earth.”

—Bonnie McMaken
Arts & Communications Pastor

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.

Habakkuk 3:17-19
